The last session of the SCTM Presidency in 2022/2023 mandate held

On November 14, 2023, in a hybrid format, the last session of the SCTM Presidency was held, which was chaired by the president of SCTM and the president of Temporary Body of the City of Leskovac, PhD MD Goran Cvetanović, with the participation of 15 Presidency members.

Following the adoption of Ninth and Tenth electronic sessions of the Presidency meeting minutes, Nikola Tarbuk, Secretary General of SCTM, presented the Draft Program and Agenda for 51st SCTM General Assembly, which will be held on November 29, 2023, in Belgrade. Presidency members then confirmed the Program and Agenda for 51st SCTM General Assembly and referred it for adoption. Proposed documents to be adopted at 51st SCTM General Assembly were also presented. Accordingly, the chairman first pointed out that the minutes from 50th SCTM General Assembly have already been verified by the Presidency at its session held on March 1, 2022, and as such, members of the Presidency unanimously confirmed the referral of the proposed minutes to the 51st SCTM General Assembly for adoption. Then Nikola Tarbuk, Secretary General of SCTM, informed the Presidency that the session of SCTM Supervisory Board was held on October 24, 2023, where the realization of income and expenses for 2022 and first 9 months of 2023 was considered, and the Board concluded that the material-financial operations were conducted in accordance with positive legal regulations. Accordingly, the Supervisory Board refers this report to 51st SCTM General Assembly for adoption, together with the Proposed Decision. SCTM key activities in advocacy and membership services for the first 10 months of 2023, with a review of planned activities until the end of the year, were presented by Marko Tomašević, SCTM Deputy Secretary General for Advocacy, after which the Presidency agreed with the proposed SCTM Work Report and as such referred it to 51st SCTM General Assembly for adoption.

Marko Tomašević, SCTM Deputy Secretary General for Advocacy and member of the Electoral Commission for conducting the elections for bodies of SCTM at 51st SCTM General Assembly, informed the Presidency members about the candidacy procedure for SCTM bodies and presented the List of candidates for the election of bodies at the 51st General Assembly, which was determined by determined by the Electoral Commission. Accordingly, the Electoral Commission determined following candidacies: 26 candidates for SCTM Presidency members, 4 candidates for SCTM president, 8 candidates for SCTM Supervisory Board members, 2 candidates for SCTM Supervisory Board president and 32 candidates for SCTM committee presidents. At the proposal of Electoral Commission, Presidency unanimously decided that the voting for SCTM bodies at the 51st General Assembly will be conducted directly.

Since there were no further questions and proposals, the president of SCTM and the president of Temporary Body of the City of Leskovac, PhD MD Goran Cvetanović, concluded the session and thanked the Presidency members for their cooperation and contribution over the past two years, as well as SCTM professional service for their support and professionalism. The chairman particularly expressed his satisfaction with the results achieved in the last two years and congratulated the Presidency members and reminded that the next meeting is scheduled for November 29, 2023, at 51st SCTM General Assembly.
