In accordance with the Decision of the SCTM Presidency on initiating the procedure for the elaboration and adoption of the SCTM Strategic Plan for the period 2026–2030, and following the public consultations on the draft document undertaken through July and August 2025, the SCTM is launching a public debate process on the Draft Strategic Plan of the SCTM for the period 2026–2030.
Public debate on the Draft Strategic Plan of the SCTM for the period 2026–2030. is intended to collect comments and suggestions from SCTM members (cities, municipalities, and city municipalities — including members of local assemblies, mayors, members of city and municipal councils, as well as other officials and employees of local government bodies, institutions, and organizations founded by local self-governments). In the scope of this public debate, the SCTM will likewise consider comments and proposals submitted by partners from national and provincial authorities and institutions, civil society organizations, as well as international and other organizations that support international development assistance projects and programmes.
The SCTM hereby invites its members, partners, the interested public, to review the Draft Strategic Plan of the SCTM for the period 2026–2030 and to submit their comments, proposals, and suggestions.
The public debate is being conducted from September 3rd to October 3rd, 2025.
