Snežana Paunović, Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Slađan Bobić, President of the Trade Union of Public Administration of Serbia, and Nikola Tarbuk, Secretary General of the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities – Association of Towns and Municipalities of Serbia, signed on 21 May 2026 the Special Collective Agreement on Amendments to the Special Collective Agreement for Employees in Local Self-Government Units. The agreement specifies and further improves certain provisions relating to employees’ rights. They also signed an Agreement on the Extension of the Validity of the Special Collective Agreement for Employees in Local Self-Government Units until 31 May 2027, thereby ensuring the uninterrupted and continuous exercise of the rights provided for under the collective agreement for employees in local self-government units.
The new document provides for the further improvement of the rights and status of employees in local self-government units.
