PROJECT TITLE: “Include(ing)Me – Improvement of community based social protection services and policies”

BENEFICIARIES: Primary school students and children with disabilities, employees of the Bač Center for Social Work, members of the working group for drafting local planning documents in the field of social protection, employees of the Department for Social Services of the Municipality of Bač, members of the inter-sector commission, members of the local Council for Economy and Social Activities.
The project, a partnership between the Municipality of Bač and the Bač Center for Social Work, focuses on increasing the coverage and expanding the local social service of personal child companionship to a larger number of children and students with disabilities. Through this project, 14 children attending either primary schools or preschool institutions in the municipality of Bač will receive the service of a personal companion.
With this project, the Municipality of Bač will, for the first time, conduct mapping of the needs for local social services in accordance with the prevailing standards in this field, which will be publicly promoted and presented. This document will later serve as a basis for the development of a Social Protection Improvement Program in the Municipality of Bač, which will be another outcome of the project.
The project will assist local services and working bodies dealing with social protection issues to revise existing documents and acts in this field, i.e., to prepare and adopt new ones in accordance with the needs of the local community.
